Description

We're looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for an immediate travel opening in Prestonsburg, KY.
The right CNA should have 1 year of experience in a hospital setting. Read below for more requirements.

As a CNA, you will support nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering hands-on care to patients. Your role is essential in providing comfort, safety, and basic clinical support across a variety of medical-surgical or specialty units.

As a CNA, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
  • Help with patient mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transporting patients safely
  • Assist with feeding and monitor intake and output as directed
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
  • Maintain clean and stocked patient rooms and common areas
  • Support nurses with basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection and wound care assistance
  • Ensure proper use of infection control practices and PPE
  • Provide emotional support and respectful communication to patients and families
  • Document care provided according to hospital policy

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a Certified Nurse Aid in an acute care setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification, hold the NNAAP National Certification and be eligible for State licensure as a CNA 2.

CNAs should be able to work on their feet for long periods, lift or move patients safely, and remain calm and compassionate in fast-paced environments.
